King of the Wings - Everyone who comes out Friday night will become “Official Judges” for the Kings of Wings contest. Some of the best wing chefs will prepare free wing samples in efforts to get your vote. The best Wing Cook Team will be crowned “King of the Wings”. WOW Wingery has graciously sponsored this event by supplying all the wings for this cooking competition. Blue Grass Music Festiva l– As American as Barbeque, Bluegrass infuses country, jazz and blues to create tunes that create a fun family atmosphere that goes perfect with good food and good folks. Art & Crafts – Enjoy local and regional crafts from a variety of artists. Find something special for Mom for Mother's Day (It is Mother's Day weekend afterall). Bar-b-que Tasting – Now we couldn’t have a bar-b-que festival without bar-b-que! This year, we want folks to experience BBQ on a personal level. BBQ fans can talk to the teams, mingle and get a chance to taste the good bbq that each participating team has to offer. Since everyone loves good barbeque, you’ll also get an opportunity to vote in the “People’s Choice” category to determine which barbeque team has won over your taste buds. Children’s Activities – Who loves a festival more than kids? The Roman Roast on the River will host a Kidz Zone where kids can play on inflatables and participate in fun kids activities. Festival Favorites – Kids and parents will enjoy the family friendly priced activities including pony rides, swings and petting zoo. Everyone’s favorite festival treats and refreshments will be on-site. Wild Bills Soda Company is returning, so be sure to bring back your 2010 mugs for discounted soda.
