Practice & Game Location
All teams must use the designate Park Softball fields. League games are played at Floyd County Softball Center (FCSBC) located at 1014 Burnette Ferry Rd. SW Rome Ga. 30165. Directions

Team Formation
Each team needs a minimum of 9 players and may register up to 20 players.
Team rosters are finalized after the seventh game.
Teams must have 9 players in uniform to start and finish each game.
There is a $40 forfeit fee for each game that a team cannot field at least 9 players.

Two churches that ordinarily would not be able to form a team will be allowed to combine to make one team.

Softballs
Softballs are available for $55 per dozen or $5.00 each at the Park.

Player Fees
Player fees are discounted for county residents. Out of county residents must pay a $5 surcharge. Teams must use the identical rosterfrom one season to the next. Included with team fee will be one dozen softballs.

Game Schedules
Game schedules are available on the posted dates after 2 pm at the main office of the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority 300 W. 3rd Street in downtown Rome. All player and team fees must be paid in full to receive any game schedule.

League Games
Games are played Monday-Thursday at 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm & 8:30 pm (except in Late Summer 1-pitch Season) There is a 10 minute grace period for first game of the night only. Game time is forfeit time for all other games.

Time limit on all league games is one hour and fifteen minutes or seven innings. Exception to all 1-pitch league games will be 35 minutes or seven innings.

League Team Practices
FCSBC practices are available two weeks prior to each season. Individual team practices will be scheduled after each team is registered for the next upcoming season. Practice times are 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm Monday-Thursday.

Team Uniforms
Team uniforms must consist of like colored jersies with 6" numbers on the back. No two players may wear the same jersey or the same number.

Rules of Play
The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) governs softball rules of play unless otherwise stated in the RFPRA rules and regulations.

The Cage is an Indoor Baseball/Softball Training Facility located at the corner of West Third Street and 2nd Avenue in the Barron Annex Building.
