Rome Aerials Gymnastics to Host 2015 Georgia USAG Level 7 and 8 State Championship Meet

The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority’s Rome Aerials has been awarded hosting rights for the 2015 Georgia United States of America Gymnastics Level 7 and 8 State Championships to be held March 28-29. The meet will be held at The Forum in downtown Rome.  Learn more.

Fall 2014

A wide variety of recreational and competitive gymnastic programs for all ages and abilities are available. The gym curriculum follows safety prodedures with simple to complex skills taught in a progressive manner in a safe and fun environement. Students learn without injury by mastering the basics of building strength, flexibility and coordinaton before moving onto intermediate or advanced skills.

Monthly Class Registration
Registration Details: Register week prior to new month. Next registration cycle starts Oct 20. Registration can be accepted until the first day of class if space is available. Register online

Discovery Gymnastics New
Children with special needs participate in a sensory and motor-based program to build physical, social, and emotional skills.  The 45 minute class utilizes organized exercises and circuits on gymnastics equipment and allows time for open exploration and discovery.
Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:15 pm
4+ Cost: $35/month
Parent-Child style class (An adult must be present with child in the gymnastics facility during the class.)

Little tots enjoy the opportunity for open play at the
gymnastics center. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 12-2 pm
2-5 Cost: $4

Anyone can enjoy the opportunity for open gym at the gymnastics center.You don't have to be enrolled in a class to participate, but must sign a waivor form prior to entering gym.
Every Friday, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Gymnastics Summer Camps
Weekly camps are offered throughout the summer. Campers will learn gymnastics on all four events: Vault, Bars, Beam & Floor. Campers will have fun playing games with the parachute and on the trampoline. Campers will also participate in arts and crafts. Juice and snack will be provided each day, but campers should bring a water bottle each day. Each camper will recieve an RFPRA Gymnastics Camp t-shirt and award at the end of camp.

Ages: Girls 5 -12 & Boys 5-7
Time: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Drop off: NO earlier than 7:45 a.m
Pick up: NO later than 12:00 noon
Dress Code: Leotard & elactic waist shorts & t-shirt
Hair must be pulled away from face.

New classes start the first week of every month and are held year-round. Registration is first come, first serve each month. Class scheduling may change with the seasons to accomodate student enrollments.
