To expand the program, the Rome-Floyd Sports Hall of Fame is hosting their First Annual Roman Roast on the River Barbeque Competion and Festival. All proceeds from the Roman Roast on the River will benefit the Rome-Floyd Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship program. The Hall of Fame recognizes the benefits youth sports provides in building mental and social development skills as well providing essential physical exercise and healthy habits. By expanding the program, the Hall of Fame will provide opportunities for all children to experience the benefits of team sports.
