Fall Tennis Classes
The Rome-Floyd Tennis Center is offering classes and drills for all ages, from the beginner to the advanced.
Ages: As young as 4 years to the senior who wants to try tennis for the first time.
Classes: Staff tennis pros will provide private and group lessons.
When you’re ready, you can sign up to play in one of our USTA adult, senior, or junior leagues.

Tennis Summer Camps
Learn the basic skills of tennis or improve your current game.
Choose a week:
Jun 6 - 11, Jun 28 - Jul 2, Jul 5 - 9, Jul 12 - 16, Jul 26 - 30
Register: May 1 - First day of each weekly camp

Tiny Stars / Ages 4-6 / 9-11 am / $50
Little Stars / Ages 6-8 / 9 am-12 noon / $65
Future Stars / Ages 8-10 / 9 am-12 noon / $65
Beginner Jr / Ages 11-15 / 9 am-12 noon / $65

Tennis Classes
Classes are offered for youth and adults and are geared for the beginner to the intermediate
player. Learn and improve your skills in a fun,
instructional tennis group.
Registration: Register online or at the
Tennis Center, 300 W. Third
Registration Dates: Opens 4 weeks prior to each class.
Class registration is accepted until the first day of class.
Youth: Ages 5-15, 6 week, 1 hr sessions, $50
Adult: Ages 16&up, 6 week, 1-1/2 hr sessions, $65
Class times:
Ages 5-8: 4:00-5:00pm
Ages 8-10: 5:00-6:00 pm
Ages 11-15: 6:00-7:00 pm
Ages 16-adult: 7:00-8:30 pm
Choose a Class Session Start Date:
Mon Class: Mar 1 or Apr 12
Thu Class: Mar 4 or Apr 15

Tennis Center General Information
The Rome-Floyd Tennis Center is open for regular play and features 16 lighted tennis courts. This center serves as the hub for tennis activity in Rome and Floyd County.
Tennis Center Hours
Mon - Thurs: 9 am - 10 pm
Fri - Sat: 9 am - 9 pm
Sun: 12 pm - 8 pm
Playing Fees: $3
The Tennis Center is located beside Barron Stadium at 300 West Third Street.

Tennis Camps

Learn the basics of tennis or build on the fundamentals you’ve learned.
