Track & Stadium Closed Dec 13-20: The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority is closing Barron Stadium and Maddox Track for the week of December 13-20 in preparation for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Championship on December 17. The stadium will close after the game for clean-up.
The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience, and welcomes the public to visit our trails page for alternate walking trails and exercise facilities.

Barron Stadium & Track
Barron Stadium features an all-weather playing surface and professional track enabling unlimited, year-round events. The 2011 Russell Athletic-NAIA Football Championship will be held at Barron Stadium.

Mon - Sat: 5 AM - 2 PM
Mon - Sat: 6 PM - 10 PM
Note: The time period of 2 p.m.–6 p.m. will be allocated for potential rentals/maintenance. If no rentals/maintenance are scheduled, the track will remain open during this time frame.
The public is encouraged to walk in the outside lanes (5-8) and avoid the use of lanes (1-4) at all times. The field at Barron Stadium is closed to all public use.
