Position Title: Part Time Recreation Leader
Division:                     Recreation Services

Job Summary
Assists in all aspects of Recreation Services including supervision of Authority programs and services, administrative support and other task as assigned by the Recreation Services Manager.

Essential Functions
As a Recreation Leader this individual will provide administrative support to the Recreation Services Division. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Assists in providing recreation programs and services; including coordinating, implementing and scheduling
2. Maintain program records and perform clerical duties
3. Assists with basic marketing tasks including website maintenance
4. Coordinate facility rental contracts and serve as the liaison between the clients and Authority
5. Assists with special events and fund raising opportunities
6. Provide assistance to the public with questions concerning program fees and schedules
7. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete in a timely basis
8. Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Knowledge of the principals and practices of recreation and sports
2. Preferred knowledge in any of the following: Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Dreamweaver & InDesign)
3. Knowledge of first aid, AED and CPR Skills
4. Excellent skills in dealing with the public to achieve customer satisfaction
5. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
6. Ability to operate standard office equipment

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of specialized training in Recreation, Marketing or related fields.

Work Schedule
Work schedule may vary widely depending upon program needs; including weekends and after normal business hours as necessary or required by programming. 

Maximum of 30 hrs per week and pay rate is $10.00 per hour.
