General Pool Information
The Northside Swim Center features a large pool and twirling slide with splash area. Other poolside amenities include concessions, playground and picnic pavilions. The pool is open Monday through Saturday for Open Swim and is available daily for rentals during the swim season. Swimming lessons are offered in June though August.

Public Open Swim: May 28 - Aug 3
Monday - Saturday: 11 AM - 5 PM

Public Open Swim: Aug 4 - Sep 3

Labor Day, Sep 3: 11 AM - 5 PM

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Only persons with paid admission are allowed inside pool gate.

Admission: $5 (3 yrs & up)

Concessions including drinks and snacks are available for sale during open swim.

Swimming Lessons 2012
The best thing children and adults can do to stay safe in and near the water is to learn to swim! Our instructors follow the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program.

Swim Class Sessions & Class Descriptions
Classes offered June - July

Parent Tot (Ages 6-36 Months)
This class is for infants and toddlers who have little or no water experience. Participants will learn about the water through games, songs & safe play. Parents must accompany child into the water.

Preschool Swim Class (Ages 3-5)
This fun class teaches children basic water safety and swimming skills. Parents are not required to be in the water.

Level 1 & 2 Swim Class (Ages 6+)
Swimmers will start to learn basic water exploration and swimming skills. This class covers submersion under the water, floating & gliding on front and back, rhythmic breathing, safety and survival skills, and front and back crawls at a beginner level.

Stroke & Turn Swim Class (Ages 9+)
Participants must first complete Level 1 & 2. This class will continue to work on stroke development for the front and back crawl, floating & gliding on front and back, flip turns, rhythmic breathing, safety and survival skills, elementary backstroke, breaststroke & beginning stages of the butterfly.

Aqua Aerobics & Circuits
Jump right in… the water's great!! This popular water exercise class focus on both cardiovascular and strength benefits. Whether you are trying to maintain your current level of fitness or reach a new level, The added benefit of training in water makes our aqua workouts safe and fun without impact to the joints. Even people who suffer from arthritis may want to give this class a try. Everyone is welcome.
