RFPRA offers videos for sports drills, exercise

The COVID-19 virus can force us to close ball fields, gyms and facilities, but it can’t keep us from finding ways to reach out to athletes of all ages.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be posting short videos to our web site and social media accounts. Some videos will focus on sport-specific drills while others will consist of workout routines for our active adult population and even some instructional line-dancing videos.

We hope these videos can help hold everyone over until we are able to open our facilities and fields and get our sports seasons started again.

“With social distancing and sheltering in place, it can be tough for kids to exercise and work on the sports they love. We wanted to offer some easy drills and practice routines kids can do to help them get ready for when our sports seasons can begin again,” Todd Wofford, RFPRA Director says. “We also wanted to make sure we had some videos for our active adult population.”

We would love for you to share photos or short videos of you and your kids doing the drills or working out to the videos. We’ll share the best of what is submitted to us on social media.

We also encourage everyone to practice social distancing, wash their hands and obey all shelter in place rules, so that we can’t get back to playing games and having fun as soon as possible.
