Jim Alred

Recreation Services Manager

Jim Alred is the Recreation Services Manager and has worked at Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation since 2018. Jim earned his BA in Journalism from Auburn University. Jim handles all events, marketing, social media, rentals, the Northside Swim Center and more. Jim’s favorite moments at Parks and Recreation include our annual July 4th fireworks and being race director for the Leprechaun-a-thon road race.

 

In his spare time, Jim spends time with his family, cheers on his beloved Auburn Tigers and likes to run. He also served as the Rome High School football radio play-by-play announcer for the 2022 season.

Tammy Bryant

Assistant Recreation Services Manager

Tammy Bryant is the Assistant Recreation Services Manager and has worked at Rome Floyd Parks and Recreation since 1985. Tammy is a 1985 Graduate of Shorter College where she earned a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Recreation Business Management. Tammy coordinates special population activities and events, active adult activities, rentals, recreation centers and summer day camps.  Tammy enjoys all of the activities that she does and especially looks forward to Saturdays and Challenger Sports. Tammy also has her CPRP certification, Certified Parks and Recreation Professional Certification.

 

When Tammy is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her big furry dog Rudy that weighs more than she does.

Bradley Kirk

Recreation Program Coordinator

Bradley Kirk works as one of the Program Coordinators and was hired on shortly after his internship in May of 2022. Bradley attended Shorter University where he earned a BBA in Sport Management, while also playing football at the safety position. Bradley helps orchestrate events, marketing, aerial cinematography, social media, public relations and works alongside with managing the Northside Swim Center. Bradley’s favorite part about working at RFPRA is bringing the community together for exciting events and making a positive impact in younger generations.

Outside of work, Bradley enjoys spending time with family and friends, having Christian fellowship, longboarding, paddle boarding, fly fishing and fitness.

Ty Barnett

Recreation Program Coordinator

Ty Barnett works as one of the Program Coordinators and started working full-time for RFPRA in April 2023 after six years of working as part time staff. Ty helps assist with events, social media, photography and works as one of the lead lifeguards at The Northside Swim Center during the summer months. Ty's favorite part about his job is seeing the youth grow and enjoy our sports and community events. 

When Ty is not at work, he enjoys his free time thrifting for vintage apparel and cheering on any Georgia home team, especially the Georgia Bull Dogs.
