Lindsey Jones

Recreation Services Manager

Lindsey Jones is the Recreation Services Manager at Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation and has been employed since the world first shut down for COVID in March 2020. Lindsey graduated from KSU with a BS in Sport Management. During her time at KSU, she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta and participated in Intermural Sports. She currently oversees social media and marketing, events, the Rome-Floyd Sports Hall of Fame, and much more.

Lindsey thinks the best thing about working at Parks and Rec is that no two days are alike. Her favorite memory so far is how big of a turnout there was for the Chili cook-off in 2021. When Lindsey isn’t working, she enjoys time with her husband, kids, and pups, cheering on the Braves and doing home improvement projects.

Tammy Bryant

Tammy Bryant is the Assistant Recreation Services Manager and has worked at Rome Floyd Parks and Recreation since 1985. Tammy is a 1985 Graduate of Shorter College where she earned a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Recreation Business Management. Tammy coordinates special population activities and events, active adult activities, rentals, recreation centers and summer day camps.  Tammy enjoys all of the activities that she does and especially looks forward to Saturdays and Challenger Sports. Tammy also has her CPRP certification, Certified Parks and Recreation Professional Certification.

When Tammy is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her big furry dog Rudy that weighs more than she does.

Bradley attended Shorter University where he earned a BBA in Sport Management, while also playing football at the safety position. Bradley helps orchestrate events, marketing, aerial cinematography, social media, public relations and works alongside with managing the Northside Swim Center. Bradley’s favorite part about working at RFPRA is bringing the community together for exciting events and making a positive impact in younger generations.

Outside of work, Bradley enjoys spending time with family and friends, having Christian fellowship, longboarding, paddle boarding, fly fishing and fitness.

Ty Barnett

Recreation Program Coordinator

Ty Barnett works as one of the Program Coordinators and started working full-time for RFPRA in April 2023 after six years of working as part time staff. Ty helps assist with events, social media, photography and works as one of the lead lifeguards at The Northside Swim Center during the summer months. Ty's favorite part about his job is seeing the youth grow and enjoy our sports and community events.

When Ty is not at work, he enjoys his free time thrifting for vintage apparel and cheering on any Georgia home team, especially the Georgia Bull Dogs.
