The Thornton center is located in North Floyd Park and is convenient to game level ball fields, two playgrounds and a picnic pavilion.
North Floyd Park and Thornton Recreation Center is located at 102 North Floyd Park Rd, which is off of Martha Berry Highway, across from Armuchee High School.
Fitness Center
Come get your fitness goals started with us. We have treadmills, ellipticals, stairclimbers, and more. Cost: $1 per visit/per person

Rentals
The 27,000 square foot facility is perfect for hosting meetings, parties, gatherings and reunions. The center is located inside North Floyd Park and is situated with convenient access to the Selman ball fields, playground and picnic pavilion.The center features the following:
- One full size gymnasium ( 2 Cross Court Basketball Courts)
- Banquet room with kitchen access
- Meeting/Activity rooms
- Playground
- Commercial grade kitchen

- Banquet Room: Can hold 18 Round Tables & 7 Rectangle Tables 250 metal folding chairs
- Activity Room: Can hold 6 Round Tables & 2 Rectangle Tables 50 metal folding chairs
