Ridge Ferry Park

Ridge Ferry Park is Rome’s most popular park with a large central playground, picnic areas, and river views. The park offers great access to the multi-purpose trail system, which runs through Downtown Rome.

 

This 60-acre park consists of multi-purpose pavilions, a large concert stage, fishing and river access, picnic shelters, playgrounds, restroom facilities, natural and paved trails, two sand volleyball courts, wetlands demonstration area, an ADA-accessible tree house, and a dog park.

 

The Rome/Floyd E.C.O. River Education Center and Pollinator Gardens are also on the property and available for visiting.

 

Ridge Ferry Park hosts events throughout the year, including Easter at the Ridge, Independence Day Celebration sponsored by Atrium Health Floyd, The Rink at Ridge Ferry, the Chili Cookoff, Backyard BBQ Bash, Truck or Treat, The Paper-Doll Parade 5K and Health Walk sponsored by Atrium Health Floyd, and the Ridge Ferry Park Farmer’s Market sponsored by Atrium Health Floyd.
