Ridge Ferry Park is Rome’s most popular park with a large central playground, picnic areas and river views. The park offers great access to the multi-purpose trail system, which runs through Downtown Rome.

 

This 60-acre park consists of a multi-purpose pavilion, a large concert stage, fishing and river access, picnic shelters, playgrounds, restroom facilities, natural and paved trails, two sand volleyball courts, wetlands demonstration area, an ADA accessible tree house and a dog park.

 

The Rome/Floyd E.C.O. River Education Center and Pollinator Gardens are also on property and available for visiting.

 

Ridge Ferry Park hosts events throughout the year, including the Patriotic Party in the Park, Trout Unlimited Chili Cookoff, Chiaha Arts Festival and a seasonal Farmer’s Market.
