The Alto Park and Etowah Park tennis courts will be getting some much-needed resurfacing in May. The resurfacing will force the courts to be closed for a period of time. The Alto Park courts are schedule to be closed starting on Tuesday, May 2.
The Etowah Park tennis courts are schedule to be closed starting on Monday, May 15. Weather and construction issues could change these dates. Once the courts are completed and ready for play, they will reopen to the public.
“We are happy to be able to resurface these courts for the tennis and pickle ball playing public of Rome and Floyd County,” Todd Wofford, RFPRA Director, says. “Please bear with us during this time. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and allow us to reopen the courts as soon as possible.”
