Calling all golfers. Register now for the 2024 Willard Nixon Sports Hall of Fame Golf Tournament sponsored by Rome Orthopaedic Center.
The golf tournament is set to take place at Stonebridge Golf Course in Rome on Friday, September 27 with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Teams can enter for $400 which covers all the fees and includes boxed lunch. There will be prizes for the top three teams and the closest to pin and the longest drive.
All proceeds raised from the golf tournament go towards the ROC Outstanding Student-Athlete Scholarship fund. The scholarships are awarded to college-bound male and female seniors from the seven local schools who have excelled in academics, athletics, and public service throughout their school careers.
Hole sponsorships are available for $100 which will go towards the scholarship fund as well.
